The ZERODE G-1 has arrived. Gone are the days of semi-active suspension, derralieurs and chainguides. After 4 years of testing and prototyping, ZERODE Bikes (Rotorua, New Zealand) is proud to announce the official release of the 'G-1' frameset. ZERODE G-1 ZERODE G-1 The design team of Rob Metz and James Dodds (aka Dodzy) have re-engineered the mountainbike from the ground up, taking ques from their own riding experiences (NZ championships, World Cup DH rounds, 1000's of downhill runs and years of riding home made high pivot gearbox bikes), rider feedback and motorcycle design theory. Check out the ZERODE G-1 in action below: 'G-1' features: Gearbox - Offers flawless shifting whether pedaling or coasting, coupled with low maintenance with a significant reduction in unsprung weight. High Pivot - Superior bump absorption while aiding traction and pedaling. ZERODE Pedaling Geometry - Balances the effects of weight transfer, traction forces and chain force to eliminate pedal bob while enabling the suspension to be fully active. The bottom line? The 'G-1's unique features combine to achieve what every bike company strives to achieve but most fail - A bike which needs minimal maintenance with flawless gear shifting and suspension action which works just as well whether you're pedaling, coasting, braking or hitting turns!
